How Do I Look?

Oh yeah, and I chopped my hair.
Do any of you know that show on Style Channel (or is it E!)? I think I'd cry if I ever went on that show. They are so catty and brutal. I would listen to the advice, but the truth is that they'd probably try to take away every bit of gyaru style I have left. I've only got so much to give!

Thank god I'm not on that show. Luckily I have my fellow bloggers who know the struggle-- some of whom are also oneegyaru and understand that once you're past a certain age, more is more. I'll leave the less is more philosophy to the tiny teens and younger adults. I'm somebody's mama now lol.

*On a semi-related note, does anyone remember that old MadTV sketch for Mom Jeans? The slogan was, "Because you're not a woman anymore. You're a mom." The jeans were super high-waisted, baggy in the front with a tapered leg and that light blue color that makes me think of Jordache circa 1992. That will never be me.

Fur Craze!

I seriously want this furry mimi-hat. The super long scarfy straps are so over-the-top I need this hat for sure ^_^

Preview: Glamorous September 2010

First off, I'd like to credit Jam for uploading these scans. You can get the whole thing from:
http://tokyo-jam.livejournal.com/8696.html. After skimming through, I decided to go to hudie.com and check out other stuff. I will post on my deco inspiration next time. I'm definitely gonna have to start experimenting. But onto Glamorous. Here are some things I love. My notes are captioned below the photos.

I prefer these methods of using leopard
and fur as accessories rather than clothing.
I could see myself wearing these
in the office of at a nice dinner with
a freelance client... though I hate
outfit number 4. It's not for me.
I'm into the vest more than anything else
on this page, but the fur boots + tights.
I swear I wear that middle outfit every day.
Also, it's time for me to get a zebra purse.
I NEED that red sweater-dress thingy,
but I find myself liking most of the
things on this page. Esp. the grey purse.
